I'm finally done with my new CD!

I've posted MP3s of the entire CD on my site, and you can check them out HERE

The following DUC members graciously lent their talents:
Roy Howell - Slide Guitar on Psalm 113 and Trinity
SkipB - Guitar Swells on Overwhelmed
Paul Curtis - Guitar (hollow body Bigsby tremolo stuff) on Beautiful Jesus and Psalm 113
Kevin Ludwig - Keyboards on Higher

You guys did an amazing job, and I am in your debt!!!

Now that I'm done I'm going to catch up on all these great tunes you guys have been posting!!!

okay, I've posted this three times, no one ever listened to it.

Please listen to Billie's bounce, it's a new mix I did the other day. Added a little compression and eq.

Two overdubbed guitar parts. Each part is close miced and also has an ambient mic.

thanks

Captain Pants,
I finally got a chance to listen to your last 2, 'Identity Crisis' and 'Sign'. So that's a vocorder, eh? Interesting sounds... I like 'Sign' the best. Very driving...good stuff, and I encourage you to keep creating good music.

badperson,
Nice jazz guitars...smooth stuff. They entertwine really well as it moves along. Nice, man. Keep em coming.

Thanks, Roy

I really like that christian music goes together here with the darkest tunes in good harmony, as well as all styles of music stand next to eachother here. Comparing some songs to eachother makes them look as completely opposed regarding their textual meanings, and everybody respects eachother. All different beliefs, styles and backgrounds peacefully coëxist on this place. Compliments all of you!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Badperson,

The reason I haven't listened to it yet is because Soundclick wants me to go through an entire full page registration form before I can download the MP3, then the're going to e-mail me an entry code which I must then go back to Soundclick and log in with.

This is a host site that goes out of its way to make sure nobody comes in and listens to your stuff. It's hard enough to draw people to a user-friendly site. I'd suggest going to a different host - maybe IUMA, MP3.com or Artistlaunch.

I'm going to go ahead and go through the motions to listen to your song, because you're a DUC guy (which makes you cool, right off the bat), and because you deserve to be heard. But you might want to rethink that site.

OK Jason (Badperson)

Listened to "Billie's Bounce" - very nice. You've got some serious jazz guitar chops. The mix is ALMOST there...sounds clean, but in the beginning of the track the lead guitar is drowning out the bass/rhythm part. I would bring up just a tad, at least until the chord runs start.

Very cool ending chord. Let it ring a second or two longer if possible.

Nice work.

yeah, I saw it. Thanks!

I really get a lot out of watching people solve problems in this thread.

Thanks!
