Mbox 2 Micro with audio out from Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56
 

Hi there,

My current set up is an iMac, Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 and Logic Pro. I am now wanting to get ProTools LE but don't know exactly how to go about this. My eye is drawn towards the Mbox 2 Micro because of its simplicity, affordability and also because I don't really need any more ins and outs due to having plenty on the Focusrite interface. If I were to purchase the Mbox 2 Mirco would I have to use its stereo mini jack output or could I use the output from the Focusrite via Saffire Mix Control?

Any suggestions or possible alternatives?

Essentially I want to use the Focusrite as my main interface whilst using Pro Tools.
