Blinking green light?

I have a blinking green light inside my 002r. There's a solid green one that is always on and near it is one that is always blinking whether you have protools loaded or not. Anyone have any idea why this light is always blinking? Digidesign is this normal?

yes I know what the midi light is. You obviously didn't read my post correctly. I said inside the unit ,not on the front panel.Such as if you took a screwdriver opened the unit and about center to the right there it is,right next to a chip. You can also see the blinking light if you look through the vent holes on the chassis cover.
