Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here
Hello bey12,
Thank you for listening. Dreams was a melody that I had in my head for years. My old violin teacher might cringe if she heard the middle section, but music is music and I think it's ok, my violin was in another room when I recorded that part ;-) Take Care, Gene |

I am so psyched! I just found out that by searching "Shinock" or on my name, my record label and the approriate pages pop up within the top 3 results on Yahoo.
This is a nice surprise. Just had to share it with somebody. Sean. |

Hi all. I haven't put anything up in while, but it's not for lack of output. (Just lazy, maybe).
My new thing is "downtempo". It's not for everyone, but I'm having a lot of fun with it. This is called Dance of the Black Eyed Virgins. Enjoy. |
Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here
Well it's been a while since I posted something also. I worked over the break and finished up my latest song, named stone
I had the idea of making this 2 songs, but that run into each other. Think Green Day with Brain Stew/Jaded, or Pink Floyd with Brain Damage/Eclipse, that sort of thing. If I did, the first one would be called pushaway, and the second one stone. It kinda just changes all of a sudden. what do you think? This poses a question, how do you make it where you have continuous sound, but separate tracks (Pink Floyd). Does it depend on the software burning it, as to whether or not it has a break after each track or is it something in the recording process? thanks Tim |

soundsurfr - Nice little dity. The bass note at the start had my attention straight away.
metaltim - I must say that the style was not what I was expecting from your name Some nice stuff. Being picky I'd say that the piano line at the start is a tad loud, as is the vocals towards the end. Especially when they split hard left and right. Makes it sound a bit false, like they don't really belong to the song, but just thrown over the top. But hey.... I've been guilty of that myself Mark |

metaltim
Just read the rest of your post You need to make sure there is no silence at the start or end of your .wav files, and then use burning software like Nero that will allow you to remove the 2 secs gap that is normally put between tracks. Mark |
Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here
thanks for the tips aussie, its funny cause right before I bounced the song, I thought the vox at end where a little bit quiet, which is kind of what i wanted there, but i ended up raising them a bit anyway...
weird i have to agree with your being fooled by my name. I am into 'metal' also, im actually a drummer in a death metal band, the link is below. but when it comes down to it, I can't sing, play, or let alone write death metal, or any kind of metal really, so I stick to mainstream. I've never given it a shot, but does easy CD happen to put that silent space between songs?? I guess I should just get Nero anyway, most people rave on it.. tim |

www.circlemeetsasquare.com - go to discography, then any of the three songs off of the "Universal Rundle" record.
Here it is guys, the first recording of my band on my 001. Fast punkrock ain't for everybody but I'm ready for the judgement of my respected peers on the recording itself. If any of you happen to be into punk let me know! |
