Fast Track Solo - Anyone still have one?
 

Hi everyone. I still use my Fast Track Solo as my audio interface but lost the tablet cable that came with it to connect to ipad, as I never used it on the go before but would like to try to now.
However, I can't seem to find any indication about what type of cable I should look for. On the box and in the user manual it only says "a device link cable or a tablet port for ipad" and online I've heard people call it a "30 pin to usb adapter." But a regular sized USB cable does not fit in the slot on the Fast Track so I'm not sure what to do.

Does ANYONE out there know what cable I should order?

Looking at the solo shows both a standard USB port and a separate tablet port, which I don't recognize. The USB port might be able to be used with an adapter(often called a camera kit). Letting us know which tablet you have might also help get better advice. I suggest calling B&H and chatting with someone in their recording department as they may have the cable you need:o

That was a Device Link cable. It only came in one iteration that would have a 30 pin connector on the other side to plug into much older iPads.

If you can find that cable anywhere, you might be able to find a 30 pin to lighting adapter to use with newer iPads.

Thanks for the replies everyone(this isn’t my thread, but relevant to my issue). I must not be explaining this properly. The cable I need is not the USB cable port, it’s the port I have circled in the attached pic. This cable has an odd connector that goes into the Tablet port(pictured) and the other end is Apple 30-pin for iPad. I hope that makes more sense. My apologies for the confusion.

RBxxx - curious if you ever found the “tablet” cable…

The jack on the Fast Track could be female lightning, it’s definitely not the aforementioned focusrite cable on the discontinued sweetwater page.
