Sharing a video in same session for ADR (video in booth and video in control room)

I want to have video playback in the booth and in the studio for monitoring during an ADR session. Is there a way to set it up so I don't have to use the "mirror displays" option in the system prefs? Can I use a canopus box and split the signal? If so, will there be sync issues? I'm running pro tools 8.0.3 on Mac pro OS 10.5.8 THANKS IN ADVANCE!

There are actually small boxes from apple available that give you 2 simultaneous video outputs from one screen output. s-video and composite video out. Cheap and works great.
