Buffer error 9129 & 9093 when turn down buffer

HP Pavilion Notebook PC (DV6119US)

1024MB DDR2 memory
80GB hard drive

Have Mbox with 6.4 Le systems protools

Tryed Digi anwserbase for 9129

Disable the processor as follows:

1. Right-click on My Computer and select Manage
2. Click on Device Manager
3. In the right pane, select the pulldown for Computer
4. Right click on the Multiprocessor entry and select Properties
5. Click the Driver Tab
6. Select Update Driver
7. Click Next in the Hardware Wizard
8. Select the ‘Display a list of known drivers for this device…’ and hit Next
9. From the list in the window, select ACPI Uniprocessor PC
Note: If you do not see the Uniprocessor PC option, select the ‘Show all hardware devices for this class’
button—
The Uniprocessor selection should then appear in the right pane
10. Hit Next and allow the driver to install---it will then prompt you to reboot
11. Reboot the computer. The CPU is now operating in single processor mode

I do not have Uniprocessor PC option.
These are the ones listed

*ACPI Multiprocessor PC
*Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (AcPI)PC
*MPS Multiprocessor PC
*Standard PC

Thx

I believe Standard pc is what you require.
...But I warn you it made no difference for me :-)
By the way , windows will redetect all your hardware, dont be alarmed :-)
Take a full system backup firts btw..rolling back is a bit tricky

good luck

That missed up the whole system Had to do a rebot of windows.

Think about returning note book. Need Protools to work & this note book seems to have problems.
