Ruogh rock. I love that attitude.

Drums are boxy, otherwise it sounds professional.

Thanks Finne!

Mark/madcow...good job...well played and tight....I do agree with Finne on the drums sounding boxy(and the snare is too high pitched for this, i think).....other than that, sounds great. Thanks for the listen.

MusicalWonder,
Really nice chords...sounds like an excellent bed for vocals, and I'de like to hear when it's done. The warm elec. 'piano' sound is really nice, though I would suggest not using it thoughout both the verses and chorues. A change to something else on say, the choruses, would make it feel more welcome when you bring it back in on the verses.

But....very nice job so far. Post back with vocals when you can.

Hi there.

I'm not experienced with mixing songs but anyway, I try. I'm in a band called Marius from the Faroe Islands. We are in the making of a CD and I've been mixing the recordings we have so far for demo use.

I would realy like your second opinion on these mixes.

The drums, bass and guitars are recorded "for real" The vocals I recorded myself and the keyboards.

I would like to give my humble opinion on the other mixes on this thread, but my internet computer is at my work and it has som crappy speakers, so...

Well anyway... what do you think?

Thanks Roy..

I also agree about the drums. We did everything in 2 evenings so unfortunatly we didnt spend alot of time on them. Next time though!!

On another note.....
I havent been here in awhile and there is alot of good stuff people are posting!!
Keep it coming folks!

Re-vamped somewhat

So we re-tracked the vocals and got better results for the most part. The mix sits to the left ever so slightly for some reason. Just a tad..... I think that it is due to sending it out to the 73i from 48/24 to 44/24 at the bounce. Warmed it up. I then shot it through the API from 44/24 to 44/16. Really like how it just adds something. Anyways, still a few tweeks to do. I may drop the vocals a db or two overall. Like the rest for what it is.

Enjoy.
