Acid to PT6 session convertor
 

Does anyone know of a conversion app that will input an Acid file and output a PT session file?

nope.

do you mean an Acid session or an 'Acidized' audio file or loop? As with any other app, you can render your Acid tracks as wav/aif files and line them up in a ProTools session at the same tempo. You can't simply convert an actual Acid session into a PT session and to my knowledge, this applies to any two pieces of software.

Yes!

It is technically possible- just a simple conversion that an application could do. I'm suprised nothing like this exists. Wouldn't it be great to be able to take a Nuendo, Cubase, Logic, Sonar session and convert it to a PT session? It is commonplace amoung other media formats (graphics, layout apps, sound files, video). From a programmers view it wouldn't be too difficult from a user's view it would be a worthy tool. If only I could get a Digi and ACID SDK.

Talk to the Acid folks to allow OMF. This works for other non Digidesign software exports to be opened into ProTools.
