Wow! Now I feel like I made the right move when I purchased my hdx cards on the cheap a couple of years back when everyone thought it was going away.

It is perfect for me- I have a HDX1 +MTRX +2019 Mac Pro.
I don't need more IO, I just need more voices.

so this is just a PT Ultimate version update right? not new hardware?

Yes HDX hardware requires Ultimate software, this is just software update

edit: Above, answers. If it’s working now (21.3) It will work in June. (Is this absolute, or only software-version reversible)?

I would guess it is included in next PT update and have same OS requirement than 2021.3 but we will see soon enough

I'm really hoping that Mojave will still be supported, but I'm not holding my breath. A big update like this would make sense as a cut-off point for for pre-Catalina OS's.
