Audio out of After Effects
I have a client who would like to send me audio elements from an After Effects project. What is the best way for him to send me individual audio elements while still maintaing some sort of synched relationship between all of the layers he has (7). Is there an easy way or does he need to port everything over to his AVID?
Thanks. -scott waz |
Re: Audio out of After Effects
After Effects is notoriously bad with audio. i don't think you can have more than a 2 channel stereo file in there. everytime i get distorted audio from an editor, it is because they put in after effects. maybe someone knows differently, but i think your only solution is to get a guide from AE but get an OMF form the AVID that corresponds to the clip.

Re: Audio out of After Effects
Reviving this old thread because I have a video editor trying to send me the functional equivalent of an OMF from After Effects.
Any news on this? I know nothing about AE, so I just instructed him to open the handles, and flatten the audio on each track and send me flat files. Is there a better way? |
Re: Audio out of After Effects
Nope.
I have friends here on CS5 and they told me, that there is no way other than, what you've described to export audio from AE. Best, Kuba |
Re: Audio out of After Effects
No project export to Premiere which could knock out an OMF ?
