I'm custominzing a Dell computer, and I will be using an Mbox. Here are the specs. Can anyone please give me some feedback about whether or not this is a good system for using ProTools. Thanks.

We would need to know the chipset model on the motherboard to give any conclusive information.
You may want to check the compatibility documents for more information on compatible chipsets. |

Save yourself a bunch of money and build an allenstein type machine.

Allensteins RULE!! Seriously, you really need a second hard drive for audio and a 15" screen will never do. Even Digi recommends at least a 17" and you really want a pair of those. The money you save by building the Allenstein will buy those extras. Plus you won't have compatibility issues.
