"Path to session contains illegal characters"
hi everyone,
i'm asking for some help on behalf of a friend, who's having an issue with pt 10 on his macbook pro.. -- here are the particulars of the problem: newly installed protools 10 when i open a new session, when i try to save, i get the comment: Path to session contains illegal characters ( / ). when i open a new session, and import sound files, and try to save, i also get: Path to session contains illegal characters ( / ). Mac processor - 2.2 Ghz intel core i7 OS - 10.7.5 8 Gb ram using glyph firewire drive everytime i have opened any session, i can not save it, even after adding files / regions. i always get that statement: Path to session contains illegal characters ( / ). and it does not: no "/" -- many thanks for any tips! |
Re: "Path to session contains illegal characters"
Select the session file in the finder, command-I for get info. Look at the file path there; I'll bet you'll see an illegal character somewhere.
