path to session contains illegal characters

Hello,
I'm trying to open a new session but it keeps telling me "path to session conatins illegal characters." What does this mean and how can I fix it? I'm only using standard letters, no punctuation or anything of the sort. Also, how do you fade out a song?

Thanks!
Evan

Any oddball characters in your volume/folder names? Avoid punctuation, odd characters, and spaces in volume/folder names.

Create a fade on the end of the song or draw automation.

I have the same problem.

I'm trying to create a new session called "test" and I get Path to session contains illegal characters ( / ).

How the [bleep] does that contain illegal characters?

I'm in the middle of a paid session and this [bleep] came up. I want to blow Digidesign up.

Read the error again; The Path to session has illegal characters. So the folder(s) you are trying to create the session in has illegal characters in it. I'm not sure why that was so difficult to understand.
