Red Record light blinks/auto read goes to black
 

When I arm the Record on any Track in any session, new or old, the red light blinks and the "auto read" tab/button highlights dark—and I can't Record a thing.

Did I accidentally hit some strange keystroke?

I'm on Pro Tools 10.0.1 and everything, except some minor bugs, has worked fine for months.

Are you in 'Low Latency' mode?

And to effectively help you, it would be nice to know the specs of your system.

Mac Pro (tower)

Mac OS 10.6.8

Pro Tools 10.0.1.58

I've had this computer for over one year and have worked in Pro Tools 9 through Pro Tools 10.0.1.58.

I've been in Pro Tools 10.0.1.58 for months and I've never seen this problem.

Yes I am in 'Low Latency' mode, Input Monitoring Only—an I have been working this way since January.

I had a four hour recording session last night, all was normal—then this problem arose.

Did I accidentally strike a key combination that caused this…or is it something else?

I deeply appreciate any help you could give me.

I don't know what happened. I went into my studio today and everything worked perfectly. Go figure.
