Fader Module meter led display with 5.1 tracks
 

Hey all,

I have a 5.1 Master layout with Dial, BG, FX, Foley, Music and something annoying is happening with those 5.1 tracks (Dial, Foley,...) having main activity on the center... Nothing is displayed on the leds next to the faders. Until you pan...

Is there a way to display the sum of the track level when using 5.1 routing so I can manage the "global level" ?

Currently its left and right. We could try and add an option to sum anything above Stereo. The meter next to the waveform is a sum I think.

This would be very nice. As it is now, I can no longer trust the led meters on the fader module without asking myself what type of track it is...

I assume M40 users can have a look at the display modules and that's it...

Wondering if this ever got resolved? Currently having a similar issue with 7.1.2 tracks where the metering is absent.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the OP is talking about the LEDs that are next to the fader on the fader module not on the Display module. That's at least the issue that we're having here on 7.1.2 tracks.

Oh! And oddly enough, on the FX side of the desk here, we do have working LEDs next to the faders of 7.1.2 Beds. It's only the DX/GRP 7.1.2 Beds side right now that we're not getting LEDs next to the faders.
I've also tested banking around to see if the LEDs were dead but they work fine on other channels. :rolleyes:

Correct but he was asking me which meter is a sum of the legs....that is on the Display Module
