DAE error -6027

Since 2 days I'm gettin' this message:
DAE was unable to complete this operation. One or more audiotracks is too dense near the current location (-6027).

I've tried everything I can imagine, but still there is this little message that keeps on buggin' me.This happens sometimes in record mode, sometimes in play mode.Always after 'bout 30sec./max. 2 min.
I can still save what was recorded, but every time I press play, same message.Only thing to do is to restart ProTools....and two minutes later.....same thing happens.

PLEASE help me out, cuz' I've got about three albums to finish.

Thanx

I just recently experienced the error also.
It seems like it's related to just one session. I tried inporting all the tracks into a new session, but it didn't solve the problem, plus the usual "work a round's", but to no avail.
anyone?

Ditto! Can we get some help here...??? Digi tech support? Anyone? Turning all tracks from "Auto" voice to assigned voices seems to work, but what's the point of Auto voice switcing if it doesn't work? And then I can't use RTAS plugins on my Mix+ system, which pretty much defeats the purpose. This error also followed me from my Beige G3 to my G4, and occurs whether I'm using the internal drive or my ATTO external scsi.

Help...!?? I'm sick of rebooting every ten minutes....

I couldn't solve the problem(tried about everything),but it was just in this one session....Every session I've done ever since was workin' like it should.
Seems to me there must be something like an "infected session".

Hello,

What OS, CPU and Pro Tools version are you running? If in OS 9, how much memory do you have allocated to DAE and Pro Tools? What type of drives are the sessions located on? What are the drive formatted with?

Re: DAE error -6027

whenever i get this error, it usually goes away if i consolodate several of the more choppy(edits) tracks. i've also had it follow from g3 to new g4 mdd. it seems to related to PT having to read from too many audio files spread throughout the drive at once.

Re: DAE error -6027

Hello,

In Pro Tools 5.x this seems to be caused by heavy edit density. As Felix suggested, try consolidating heavily edited tracks.
