Requesting general plug-in settings for guitar
 

I'm currently recording a Steely Dan tune, Reelin in the Years. I'm using a Fender Strat guitar with a Fender Hod Rod Deluxe amp. When using the RTAS or AudioSuite effects such as EQ. Compression, D-verb, Chorus, it is just overwhelming with respect to all the different settings. Basically, I'm requesting some general settings to begin with for these 4 plug-ins, for the guitar.
I continue to experiment with them, but I'm just not dialing in the best settings.

Keep experimenting Mark. Thats the best way to figure stuff out.

Its impossibe for anyone to give you advice in what settings to give for plugs if they can't hear what the sounds are.

There is lots of good stuff to read in the digizine archive. There are articles about everyone of the plug -ins that you are asking about. The Charles Dye tutorials are in there also and are really good.
