Help Needed - Midi

I haven't been recording for a while and started again today.

When I'm trying to record midi the volume slider on the aux channel keeps sliding down when the recording starts. This also happens when I try to draw the notes on and play them back.

I'm assuming that I've fixed this before when I first started using midi but I just can't remember how or what I did.

I'm using LE through a 002.

Any help would be REALLY appreciated!

Thanks,

Jack

Re: Help Needed - Midi

What version of Pro Tools are you using?
What kind of track are you using to record midi, midi track or instrument track?
Are you using an external midi sound module or a software instrument?

Sounds like you've written volume automation on that track. Either turn off the automation, or go in and delete it.

Re: Help Needed - Midi

I loaded pro tools again when I got home later and tried the same thing as I did before and it's working.
So I have no idea why it suddenly stopped working earlier.

Oh well, problem solved.

Thanks for your help
