Drum tuning

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good drum tuning dvd or video. I'd been to a number of drum clinics many years ago and am looking to freshen up my tuning chops. Thanks in advance.

Wow, every drummer needs to print that out and staple it to their forehead after reading it 10 times. Sometimes drummers don't realize how much of a difference it makes to sit there and tune the drums right. Thanks for the link...

I like to use a hairdryer when installing/tuning new tom heads, especialy when using lower tunings. It helps set the skin on the bearing edge and saves a little time getting the head broken in. Install head, tune to desired tension, warm up the whole skin evenly making sure to focus most of the heat on the edge in a circular motion, push in the center with your palm, retune, reheat, repush, retune, done. Careful --> Not too hot, and let it cool before hitting hard with a slick <--

The Russ Miller Drum set crash course tuning edition DVD is absolutely awesome.

It completely changed the way I think about tuning drums. I can't recommend it enough. Every drummer/engineer NEEDS to own a copy.
