This is the only one project song project I spent time on. My goodness, the axeslinger I hired sent me 16 guitar tracks, and all with D.I's. Never again, hurts the brain (LOL). Hired gun for drums was Ryan Hoyle, former drummer of the band collective Soul.

I played and tracked bass, Moog Taurus Pedals, tracked vocals for singer, mixed, with light loudness. Absolutely know nothing about mastering.

*disclamier* I begged the singer his vocals needed to be louder, but he was the boss. We will redo the song mix with louder vocals in April.

Cover tune of Geddy Lee, song called Home On The Strange.

Smashing tune. I like the guitar playing, as it was recorded via DI I think you have a terrific amp simulator. Can't tell the difference on my mobile, will check later on stereo speakers.
Bass playing solid as a rock, very functional for the tune. I also like the modulations, it changes scale, how d'ya say that in English. It changes all the time and the bass and the guitar keep up perfectly.

Voice could be a bit louder indeed. Furthermore, good work on the mix. Everything is in balance except for the vocals. Will check later on my stereo, but I am trained to feel a mix on mobile and I can tell on forehand, the mix is allright. And I like the playing. [edit] Sounds allright on laptop too. [/edit]

Iain't it nice to play in a band?

I understand the vocal level quandary. I go through this more often than I wish. Keep up the good work!

Yo Basslik. Think you made a typo here. What did you mean to say exactly? Sorry for asking, just puzzled.

After 30 years of working in audio I started teaching myself how to DJ.

My first mix has done fairly well on Mixcloud, enough to get to 22 on the Minimal Tech House charts.

If you wanted to help me out and get it into the top 10 then I'd be super pleased.
