Sampling Rate Problem Please Help

Hi Guys, listen, I have a problem and it's already 2 weeks. I had this problem 1st like 4 weeks back but I reinstalled drivers and everything was ok, right now nothing helps. ok, so I have Mbox2 Pro, which Sampling Rate Is 44.1 and I have Realtek sound card which I even don't use. I guess when I turn on windows realtek lounches at 48khz and Mbox lounches at 44.1, somehow now 2 cards are connected. i have no idea how because I was usin' them normally since january n then just now this problem happened. My sound is cracklin' all the time, unless i play some mp3 which is 48khz. however the problem is that all my PT projects are 44.1 and I really wanna move on with them. 2 weeks bein' stuck is too long. I tried updatin drivers, reinstallin, instalin, Mbox, Pro Tools, Realtek (which I dnt really want 2 have).. p.s. everytime i uninstall realtek i have no sound, so it seems that it just has to be installed. anybody who had the same problem or anybody who has a solution for this? How 2 Sync both soundcards or drivers? I'd appreciate it.

Thank You

P.S. I have Windows XP, Mbox2 Pro, Pro Tools 7.3.1 cs7
