Digidesign Ethernet Driver Disk Needed
 

I am getting a message that this driver disk is needed and I don't know where to find it. Can anyone help me?

Oh come on, how do you expect help when you provide absolutely no useful information.

Maybe if you explained what you are doing, installing exactly what version of what software on what type of computer, running what operating system. Then folks here might have some clue what you are talking about and how to help.

My bad. I'm very new to all of this. I am installing ProTools 2022.12 on an Asus Vivobook 15 with a Windows 11 operating system.

I attached a picture of the pop up notification I received. I downloaded ProTools from the Avid Link

Thanks for the extra info. I have no idea what is going on here. I was guessing you were trying to install some really old version of Pro Tools… but nope. This is asking for the driver for some old Ethernet connected legacy Digidesign control surfaces like the C|24. If you don’t have one of those you should be able to ignore the message. I am not sure why you see the error at all… did you change any of the Pro Tools installer default options? You are just running the main Pro Tools installer?

You used the Avid Link application or you mean you downloaded the installer manually from Avid.com? I am not sure how the Avid Link program might cause this problem, but Link has had far too many problems. Many of us uninstall it and manage our own downloads/installs from our Avid.com accounts.

DigiDesign Pro Control and DigiDesign Control 24 will not work on 64bit PT11 or later.
