Doot Doot
 

I decided that this would be the year I try to record a bunch of my own songs.
To get back into singing, which I haven't done for real for almost 20 years, I decided to start with a cover of Doot Doot.

I'm thinking of finding someone to add real bass, and possibly real drums.

Here is the updated song with some lyrics added. I think my next step is getting better mics and a rack to get a better drum sound. Should I opt for the presonus firestudio?

I'm using 7.3 & Hybrid & Strike (for sounds only) plus Xpand & a Korg M1R & Wavestation, plus lots of guitars, basses & vocals.

I've recently added Ozone 3 for mastering, which I am very pleased with.

Hey guys, Harold Everton here. Producer, Songwriter, Arranger, Vocalist, Lyricist, Instrumentalist (20 Instruments). Some say my style has elements of Stevie, EWF, Prince, Quincy, Michael Jackson, The Entire 70s and 80s decades, etc. These tracks were done using live instruments, my voice, my Roland XV5080 and my Digi 001 using PTLE 6.1

I hope you like them. And just in case you guys wonder - No I do NOT use samplers, loops or anything like that. I do use my Roland XP60's sequencer and use it like a Tape Recorder - Record from start to finish, and then make adjustments as I see fit. Anyway, the songs are IN CONTROL, SING and FEEL THE HEAT.
