Solid State Logic Listen Mic Compressor
I recently bought the Fxpansion VST to RTAS adapter, very useful indeed !
Then I downloaded the free VST plug-in LMC-1 from Solid State Logic but I can't find it into Pro Tools. Does anyone have a clue ? |
Re: Solid State Logic Listen Mic Compressor
I am eagerly awaiting an answer as well. I downloaded that today, and have not yet purchased the wrapper. Do you have to manually pur the wrapped plugs into the plug in folder?

Re: Solid State Logic Listen Mic Compressor
Its been a LONG time since I used the wrapper but you need to fire up the wrapper and wrap the plugs before they will show in Pro Tools. There should be a column in the wrapper that shows which plugs have been sucessfully wrapped. If you not seeing it chances are its not wrapped and won't show up in Pro Tools.

Re: Solid State Logic Listen Mic Compressor
Ok,so this is from SSL website in the FAQ section:"Why can my VST software not see the SSL Plug-in?"..."During the install you will be asked to give the plug-in a path to install to.The install program creates its own 'Solid State Logic' directory which can mean that VST can't find the plug-in file. For the plug-in to work you will have to manually copy the LMC1.dll file back out of the SSL directory and into the same directory as all the other plug-in.dlls".
I check this out and will let you know ;-) |

And the Looser is.................ME !!! Unfortunately, the wrapper says it's not a valid plug-in and don't wrap it. What else should I do now?
