Small \"import audio\" dialog bug?
 

Hi all,

while doing some SRC tests today, I noticed that the "import audio dialog" in a PT 16bit BWAV session didn't give me the correct info when trying to import a 44.1kHz AIF file.
It says:
"example_44_1.aif file can be added directly to the current session or it can be converted tot the session's audio File type"

PT seems to ignore the fact that the samplerate of the AIF file is wrong, although it will correctly convert it when "Convert" is selected.


The same file in WAV format is correctly labeled:
"example_44_1.wav file can be added directly to the current session, but it will play back at the wrong speed"

This could be confusing in the heat of a session. Can anybody confirm this is a bug?
