Delta 1010LT (M-Audio) - Reliable?
 

Is this as reliable and user-friendly as an MBox? I need a new soundcard for my PC and a recording interface - will this handle both, or do I need a separate soundcard for other computer functions?

1. you can't use the LE version of Pro Tools with m-audio devices - so you will have to purchase a separate Pro Tools M-Powered (with usb key).

2. delta 1010 are reliable and stable - much more stable than using USB or Firewire (IMHO).

3. yes it will handle both recording and sound card playback - but it is not recommended to use it as a windows sound card.

I use Pro Tools M-Powered and Delta 1010lt card.
Heare it work very fine .It is very stabile.
I love this sounn card. I recomand it.

I use the Delta 1010lt (2 actually) - highly recommended!!
