How to convert midi notes to a clip?

I used the Pencil tool to draw in some midi notes in the arrange view. It's only two bars, but I'm wondering how I can highlight the notes and convert it into a single clip. Thanks!

Sorry, I meant how do I make it a single midi clip.

For example, if I highlight bars 1 - 8, press record, start playing midi notes, then stop, Pro Tools automatically makes this a single midi clip that is 8 bars with my notes inside the clip. I can then press Command-D to duplicate the clip or just grab it and move it around.

If I pencil the notes in directly within Arrange on a midi track, Pro Tools doesn't create a clip. My notes are just "free floating" on the track.

So, free hand in the MIDI Editor Window does not create a MIDI Clip boundary in the Edit Window, correct?

Track View Clips, Make your selection and consolidate.

Thanks! I didn't realize that once you pencil in notes, the midi track changes from "clips" to "notes" view. Clicking the little drop down arrow and changing it back to clips and then selecting/consolidating does the trick. :D
