Accel Card with G4 Replacement Motherboard
 

Hi there,

I've got a 450 MHz G4 tower (AGP graphics) that I'm about to upgrade with a replacement motherboard that will make it a 1GHz G4. The motherboard is a Sonnet Encore/ST G4 Processor Card.

Has anyone tried a replacement G4 motherboard with HD Accel with any success? I'd be interested in hearing your story before I dismantle my current HD (non-Accel) system, which is working fine.
