Senchak,
Listened to and liked '2nd glass'...really interesting production...well done.

8mm/Robb,
'Distant Shore'...I really like the choruses on it, and Angelo's vocals are always unmistakeable...nice job. (get my email?... )

Inteldoc/Chris,
'Tito'...nice recording, both guitar and vocal...so you're gonna redo this? Sounds great so far.

Great recording doc!

Guitars sound awesome. Love those 435's. Where were they positioned?

That 1176 is a drool worthy purchase. Vox sound awesome.

bubbaJ,
Guitars had the 435's going to them into the Digi PRE. The left was pointed at the 12th fret about 8 iches away. The Right was up at shoulder level about 2.5 feet apart from the other pointing down at the back body of the guitar, again through the Digi PRE. This seems to get more attack then bass which is what I wanted. The vox were tracked at the same time throught he RODE NTK into the Vintech 1272 into the 1176 and then to Pro Tools. Tracked in a 13 x 22 foot room. Slight Lexicon PCM-90 verb on the over all tracks. Guitars were panned 40/-40 and vox centered. Slight EQ on the guitars. Non on his vocals....

Everything was tracked at one take so the slight phase parts are when he turned his head while playing and singing. Gotta have him work on that.

Like the 1176 so much I am buying a second this week and finally getting the pair of EL-8X distressors.

Thanks for listening.

Really fat sounds. Great vocals and lyrics. I take is this is you performing?

Sounds good.

My only comment is that the slide is a bit overpowering(to my ears) some crazy freq's in there and maybe could use some eq/comp?

Anyhow. Cool song!

Alright, here's my first post of my work. It's a hiphop tune I have been working on with a rapper and a beat producer to help them obtain clients for their services. In turn, I will be using the song on my forthcoming studio promotional demo CD. It's the radio edit version so any sware words are kind of chopped out. Let me know what you think:
