The new 'SmallMammalHouse' sounds great...big improvement on an already good mix...it's actually a kickass song too. The 'slight distortion' you used on the vocal makes it kill...what did you use?

Hey buddy! Thanks for the comments. I used the RVOX for the vocal compressor, then added at the last minute ANTARES TUBE in DEVIL mode. Just a smidge..... They really liked it. and I am happy...

sounds great in the car. Probably one of my better, cleaner and tighter mixes thus far.

I've got it for you...only problem is the server is down while we're remodeling the studio....I'll probably have it for you early next week (the fastest remodeling job in the history of recording studios!!!).

Cheers to all...I'm not sure anyone else has noticed, but the average quality of mixes and recordings over the past year or so has steadily increased over the course of this thread. Congrats to everyone for churning out some stellar music!

Here's one my son and a friend of his did in protools, but never finished (both are teenagers). It's an Industrial tune....heavy! When he played it for me I told it was pretty cool and that they should try to complete it. Needs some cleaning up though. Let me know what you think!
