<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Hi Roy,- and thanks a lot for your comments, - awesome to get that kind from a sesoned listener.

The first soloinstrument you hear is Emagic ES-2 which is the best soft-synth I´ve ever come by, - the synth sound is driven through Auto-tune, Waves reverb and got some heavy analouge compression before going into the mix.
The pads is from heavy programing of a Korg Triton and Roland JV-2080.

The whole mix i driven through Waves mastering bundle in the end and finished off with some very light analoug compression.

The whole job came by in a sort of stange way, I had the pleasure of listening to some of the US-trancegroup ATW´s tunes, and reconed that I could do something for thier sound, - as i found it a bit light. Well one thing lead to another and I ended up remixing the tune for them.
It was truely a hassel sending tracks and recordings over the big ocean and I only got a very small number together with the original, - so not an easy job, - but in the end I´m pretty happy with the experience.
I have to note that this is not my regular genre as I´m normally into filmmusic [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

I tell you, in terms of the trance genre, 'Tears of Joy' sounds great, and you did a killer job on it... some of those sounds are just sooo nice, especially the first solo instrument (is that a guitar or a synth?) and the vocal effect. (I'de love to have them on hand myself [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] ). So, is this a remix of an existing session by you, or someone else? Very good job, regardless... Thanks, Roy

I want to record it with PTLE, without loosing the grittyness. We'll see what happpens.

Well, I finally put up a few new MP3s on the ol' site.

"Douglas in a Spacesuit" - From a new client. They're a Brit Pop band called Ellem.

"Please Me" This is from another new client named Glenda Langevin. It still needs a vocal track, but you get the picture.

"Red Light Parade" Recorded last year for a project called Vital Factor. I also helped them out by singing and playing the drums. Not really my cup o' tea, but it was fun.

"Small Comfort" - Dirty Nightclub Mix (link below**)- A tune by my dear friend Scott MacGill, that I recorded a few weeks ago. Also a work in progress, but I also like it at it's current state.

Douglas in a Spacesuit - nice track. I enjoy that style. Nice mix. Very clean.
Small Comfort - Excellent. I can hear some smooth Tennor Sax filling in the windows and maybe even an outro solo?
