session is blank with none of the tracks
 

i am running pro tools 6.4. recorded a session 24 bit about 2 months ago. did some work to it yesterday. went into the session today and the session is now blank. all the audio files are in the audio folder, it's just not popping up in the session. this is the first time this has ever happened to me. does any one have a sulution? please help?

Have you been doing regular backups of your work?

it is saved in an f: drive. an external fire wire 120 gb hard drive.

let me explain what i think might have caused this.

i was in a 16 bit session. then without closing out of that session i tried to open the 24 bit session. everything i worked on from the day before that was saved was now gone. and that session was being recognized as 16 bit instead of 24 bit.

in other words, all the audio files are still there, just not in the session.
