mixer graphics bug
 

Hi there, I wonder if anyone could help. Im getting this message when opening my mix window in PT.

/Users/autobld/gitlab ci/PT_COLOR/ProTools/App/Mix_Window/UMixTable.cpp", line 2038.

My mixer window graphics then glitches and i cant click on anything in the mixer window

I am on a M1 Mac Mini and the most up to date version of pro tools.

This is happening with all PT sessions i open.

Please help!

Welcome to DUC

When you get an ASSERT error message the best thing to do is google the error. Like...

I've explained before on DUC what an ASSERT error is, you can probably find that with a similar search (Using google search with the site:duc.avid.com part is the key since the forum's own search is near useless).

So now you likely know as much as anybody about it. You could ask the other users reporting (post in their thread) this if they know a workaround, you might just try trashing prefs. (see info under "help us help you" up the top of every DUC web page)

You might also contact customer support (file an incident) and ask if they can tell you if this bug # is likely to be fixed soon or is being worked on. If nothing else just file the incident. https://www.avid.com/learn-and-suppo...-music-support.

In future before posting on DUC, please search and see if existing threads already exist.
