Not Recording

Hello, I'm just after installing pro tools 8 le and I've a strage problem, im pluging a guitar into the mbox 2, it been picked up no problems there but when i go to record it starts recording i can hear what im playing and its coming up on the track, but it not recording it, the car is moving and all for recording, any ideas?

Have you read any part of the PT user guide or the mbox2 guide related to recording and signal flow?

sorry forgot to mention, it works sometimes i will be recording fine stop, all good record again, then noting
driver issue maybe, im using windows 7?

Are you recording to an AUDIO track, or an INSTRUMENT track? Use an AUDIO track for anything that plugs in with a mic or guitar cable(Instrument tracks are for Virtual Instruments).

First off, you need to read this. and then post in the right section. This section is for mac.
