OSX 10.11.6 EuControl 3.7 Fire tablet Avid Control app has updated (no longer works)
 

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a legacy fire tablet app available? I have inadvertently updated the amazon Avid Control app and the updated version is no longer seen by EuControl.

Has anyone found a solution for this issue?

It seems that the amazon Avid Control app must be the same version as EuControl.

I can find the legacy Eucontrol apps via my Avid account but cannot seem to find the amazon legacy app in the app store or any solution on the avid site.

Any support or information would be very welcome.

In addition to my previous post.

Does anyone know why avid offer previous releases of their EuControl app on the avid download centre but do not offer compatible downloads of their avid control app for the amazon fire tablet?

I have tried updating to the latest EUCON app but my system (OSX 10.11.6) will not open that.

I can open previous versions of EUCON/EuControl but there is only the latest version of the avid control app on the amazon app store. (2021.10.1.8)

Am I missing something somewhere? Does anyone have any info on where/how to download the appropriate control app for the appropriate EuControl app?

According to the amazon app store the sole developer is avid, why can they not offer the (legacy/matched) amazon control app for download to my tablet from the download centre.

I'm afraid your OS version is way too old for anything nowadays. Latest supported PT version for example would be 2018.12
