Hey Roy,

Sorry this is no guitar music, but I just finished up the Choral Concert of my daughters high school and completed the CD and DVD for the choir director. I just had to post one last song from the concert. Man to believe that these kids are 14-18 years old, I'm still amazed. Thank you for taking the time to listen.

On a recording note, the choir director is requesting my services for a studio recording of her kids. So I am pleased that she likes my work !

Take Care,
Gene

Chris, great work on that live jazz show. I'll listen to all of them and tell you if I recognize any of the tunes. Fantastic sound.

Rogerio, No Name is very good. Great bass and guitar sounds. Drums are reason, no?

Also, gene, very good work. I can hear the mp3 encoding a bit in that one, but very nice representation of the choir.

Jason,

What a great song! I'm not kidding. Perhaps a tad bit too much verb on the vox for my taste...but man, I really love the tune! I'd love to hear it fleshed out with some subtle production (careful not to distract from the lyrics, just some string pads or perhaps a real cello accompanying the guitar). Thanks for posting it! It's like you're describing some recent events in my life with it...absolutely love it!

This is an original tune of mine recorded a few years ago on a non-PT system. I imported the bass, piano and drums, then recorded my friend singing all new vocals, then recorded myself doing a new guitar solo.

It's in MP3 format, encoded at 192 K, so probably cable/DSL is the way to go. The song is called "Alice," and it's a tribute to my grandmother, who died in '87.

Hope you enjoy.

I really like that song.Really good songwriting.Good vocals too.Someday I'll get up the nerve to put a song out there naked like that.Your song stands up with just guitar and vocals.Someday I'm gonna get brave and put out a piano vocal tune. Also Thanks for your comments on my tune. Later Stu

Telepc- good song, great vocals

Chris- great jazz pieces, recordings sound pretty good. I realize the recording was just a test for you but still done well. Anyone else I would think they were great recordings but I've heard your real stuff so I know what you're capable of.

BP- I like the piece. cool lyrics.
