USB-Ethernet adapter

Hi everybody this is my first thread, so I would like to say hello and thanks in advance for any help...
this is my problem: my ethernet port is broken and I would like to buy an usb ethernet adapter, any suggestions or experiences?

otherwise I would have to change my mother board wich, of course is very expensive, also because apart from ethernet port my mac works very well...

unfortunately I don't have a mini pci port...

thanks again

Andrea

Why not just buy a pci Ethernet card?

Re: USB-Ethernet adapter

Hi,

There's loads of USB-Ethernet adapters available, but few with Mac drivers.

However...

The MacBook Air has no ethernet port, so Apple themselves sell a USB-Ethernet adaptor for those who need it:

http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC...co=MTY3ODQ5OTY

I haven't tried it, but this seems very likely to work on your MacBook Pro. And the questions/answers on the product page I linked suggest it will work.

If you try this, please let us know how you get on.

Cheers
