Feature Idea: S1 color keys on the tablet.
 

Could the bottom section of the soft key page of the AVID Control App show the soft key assignments of the S1 color keys as another option?
So that when the tablet is up on the S1 you can see which commands are assigned to the S1 keys below it? And also switch when the shift-layer is pressed?

I've though about sticking labels on, but that would look a bit rubbish.

Yeah I've made screen shots from the EC pages and printed them out and stuck them onto my screen. Not very elegant. :-)

I presume you all don't have a Dock (the 16 softkeys that are there now match the Docks buttons). It would have to be a setting, I think.

Could not the S1 attached tablets, when in dedicated meter mode, show the S1 softkeys?
The S1 tablets don't show anything at the moment (only the Master tablet shows the user softkeys for the Dock)

I don't use the meters at all but as an option to show them instead of the small softkey that show up when you don't have the transport visible. In landscape mode that is.

But since those softkeys are shown on all pages (incl. the meters) I wouldn't mind if I could switch that to the S1 keys across all pages.
