Where to get driver for M-Audio MobilePre USB for Windows 10?
Hi. I realize this probably isn't the right place to post this, but it's the closest I've found after searching for almost an hour.
I have an M-Audio MobilePre USB interface. You can see the exact item here: http://www.zzounds.com/item--MDOMOBILEPRE I just got a new computer with Windows 10 installed and I want to know where to find a driver that will work with Windows 10 and this M-Audio MobilePre interface. Does anyone know? I've been Googling and searching the Avid website in vain. I did find this page: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...ilePre-Drivers But I'm not sure that's the right model. The interface in the photo does not resemble the interface I have (see previous link). There is no way to reach Avid support without having an order number, or something of that sort. So this forum here seems to be my last hope. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! :D |

I believe this is the link for your device. Note however that there are not Windows 10 drivers as the device is discontinued and not getting driver updates anymore. That said, try installing the Windows 7 drivers and see if it works for you. I'm using Windows 7 drivers on a few other interfaces without issues.

To anyone trying to make this interface work on a newer system- the old windows drivers will do it just fine. I have them running smoothly on Windows 10. Don't try to run it without drivers. Like other interfaces, without the drivers it will try to use windows default. This will cause massive latency problems.
(I know this is an old post, but it's the first result that shows up on google, so just want to help anyone who is still trying to do this.) |

The download links to the drivers appear to be broken :( would there be another way to get these? Just switched computers and I'm dealing with some latency

For some reason, clicking on the link doesn't kick off the download for me, but copying the link and pasting it in the address bar does allow me to save them. Try that...
