Maybe wrong place to ask this but...
I'm looking to replace the internal hard drive in my macbook. I've got the first generation macbook and it only has a 70 gb HD and I run out of space very quickly. I've been looking at these : http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/hard-.../2.5-Notebook/
Specifically, the Seagate 320 gb : http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Seagate/ST9320421AS/ I'm no expert on internal hard drives so any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
Re: Maybe wrong place to ask this but...
Be careful just to do your homework, there where firmare issues with some seagate drives a while back so make sure those drives weren't affected.
Personally i'm a hitachi travelstar fan, they're very quiet and very reliable. My second choice would be seagate. It's a personal thing based on experience, you couldn't give me a WD drive. |

Dougfather : Thanks for the reply! I checked into the Hitachi Travelstar HD's and here is what I've found :
http://www.hitachigst.com/portal/sit...K320&Find=Find I was looking at the 320 GB 3gb/s one. What do you think of that one? |
