DADman MTRX profile question
I've saved my DADman MTRX profile and it loads each day on startup.
If I open a Pro Tools session with a hardware insert EQ on line inputs/outputs, the DADman switches this insert to mic level and I then have to go in and switch it back to line level. All other settings are recalled correctly except for this. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks. |

Are you also actively using PRE protocol via IAC in Pro Tools peripherals to communicate with the MTRX preamps?

Yes, as such: (maybe I need to hit the reset button?)

Can you please give this a test and let us know if it’s what you are experiencing? Thanks.

Re: DADman MTRX profile question
That's it, it's the bug you mentioned. Closing and reopening fixed it.
This is a troublesome bug since you have line level hardware suddenly patched through at mic level, causing an extreme increase in volume and distortion. I see Avid has recognized the bug workaround back in January. Any idea when this might be fixed? Thanks for alerting me to this. |
Re: DADman MTRX profile question
Thanks for confirming. Would you mind opening a case and then I can reference your case number and get the issue escalated so we can get the bug squashed?
