No sound on ipad 2
 

Downloaded scorch on iPad 2 but can't get any sound to play with either the demo scores on my own scores. Deleted app and downloaded again, reset all defaults, sound works fine in all other music apps. Scores appear to play - they merrily move as if playing, stop and start. Any one got any ideas? :confused:

I've just got the app for iPad 2 and same thing- no sound. Did you ever fix this problem?

Hello Jamesspenny and morsostrings,

Here are some things to try:

- Check the mixer settings within Scorch
- Make sure the mute switch on the side of your iPad is not engaged (this affects Scorch playback even if the volume is turned up).
- Restart Scorch
- Restart your iPad.

Hello

I have found On the the IPad 2or3 if your side button is set to lock the screen rotation, the audio in scorch won't work.

I have an iPad 2 and have never had any problems with playback, with or without screen rotation locked. This one feature I have always loved as playback of my G7 files was never supported with snow leopard and it was a pleasant surprise when I could play them again!
