Pro Tools Control app 19.9.0.97 Big Problems
 

I just installed Pro Tools Control 19.9.7 and Eucon 19.9.0.18 with iOS 13.1. and it's broken the Control app in my system. Didn't see the Avid warning. OOPS.

Everything was working fine with iOS 13.1 before I did the upgrades to 19.9 Nothing else in my system changed before the problems started except the 19.9 software updates.

2018 Mac Mini 32g RAM.| OS 10.14.6| Pro Tools 19.6 |Artist Mix and Pro Tools Dock| 2018 iPad pro. iOS 13.1

The Mix and Dock hardware seem to be working but the Pro Tools Control App is really screwed up.

It is showing as connected and shows in the Eucon Settings window at the top of the page and in the iPad app it shows "Pro Tools 19Mac" . Also when it shows as connected theiPad app transport works but every other field in the app is blank. No channel strips, no tracks in the tracks window and the Softkeys window just says "loading soft key". The iPad app shows as connected in the "My Surfaces area of the EuControl Preferences.

Deleted and reinstalled the iPad app. I have hard restarted the iPad. I have rebooted the Mac Mini. I have tried different wifi channels all with exactly the same results.

Agreed!! ^^^ Meters don’t display, transport works when it feels like it. I thought this had bug FIXES. Y’all fixed one thing and broke 5 more. Doesn’t anybody test these things first???

Oh I see the problem.

Despite Avid sending out a warning not to update to iOS 13 you did anyway.
They were very clear on this.
This is on you. The instructions were clear not to do this.

True, I didn’t see the warning. Funny that everything worked fine in ios 13 until I upgraded to 19.9

We have found what Apple changed to break it and are trying for a 19.9.1 release next week if testing goes well.

The plot thickens. Apple just released an IOS 13.1.1 update. What, 2 days after IOS 13? Hmmm.

How does the ”plot thicken” ?? 13.1.1 is a security update so no major changes to fix Avid and Apples compatibility troubles.

Actually, I had a small handful of apps and features on my I pad that weren’t working correctly (or in some cases, at all) but the 13.1.1 update seems to have fixed them. Bug fixes under the guise of security, perhaps?
