johnson j-station
I've searched & read most of the posts concerning the j-station & problems using the j-edit software utilizing the 001's midi ports. I know that almost all j-station users have had a problem with this setup, but my question is have any been able to make them (the j-station & the 001) talk to each other? All I have heard of is a workaround using a separate usb to midi converter frankly I don't want to spend even $40 bucks on one. Any info would be appreciated.

Re: johnson j-station
The only way I got it to work was to install the original software that came with the j station first and then I used the digi 00o midi in and outs. The back panel of the jstation is very confusing as far as where to put the switch.Set it so its closest to the midi jacks.
Them go to your control panel sounds and audio devices and under audio make sure the digi001 is your midi playback device. You cant have protools open when you open the j edit software.Do you have the original j edit software? Let me know |
