how to install Mbox2 LE 7 on Windows 7
 

OK. I used to have a MAC that I ran my protools LE 7 on. But now I bought a HP laptop with Windows 7 home Premium 64 bit. I installed the Protools LE 6.8.1 installation disk and upgraded it to Protools LE 7 on the HP Lap Top. The problem I am having is that the computer can not find a driver and the computer will not recognize the Mbox. i tried using the compatibility mode for windows xp, but maybe I am not doing it right. Can I use the compatibility mode on on Windows 7 to make this all work. There has got to be way!!!! Can someone help we with this???

None of that is going to work and you will have to uninstall all of it. Then get PT8 and the 8.0.4 updater. Install 8 on the machine but do NOT connect the Mbox when asked. Just click on OKAY and the install will finish. Reboot and run the 8.0.4 updater and DO connect the Mbox when asked. After another reboot, run the cs 2 updater for 8.0.4(to correct the timing issue) and try to avoid using 48K sample rates(because the timing issue remains on that setting).
