Sound cuts out during playback and during bounce PT 10
 

Hello! This is my first time posting in the message boards so please be gentle :p

My sound has been intermittently cutting out during playback and bouncing. Its random, happens sometimes after I leave the computer sitting for a little bit or sometimes when i am in the middle of playback. When I come back to the computer the sound is gone. You can see the meters moving just no sound.

Im using Windows 10, i7-9700 3.2 GHz 8 core, 32 gigs of RAM, the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :confused:

Hi, welcome to the forum.
First of all, PT10 is not compatible w/Win10, so inconsistencies are to be expected. You might even consider yourself lucky it works at all.
Is this a new setup? Have you had it working before at all?

Change the buffer? Check plugins to see if any are now running in demo mode?

Is the computer set to sleep or any power settings that could effect this? i've had screen saver cause issues before on PC. just turn everything off and see if it continues.
