HD Native... Thunderbolt or PCIe?
I have a 2008 Mac Pro and want to get HD Native.
While I would love to ALSO get one of the new Mac Pros when they come out, it just isn't in the budget. Does this mean I "must" buy the PCIe version of HD Native? |
Re: HD Native... Thunderbolt or PCIe?
yes, unless you go iMac or Mac Mini

Re: HD Native... Thunderbolt or PCIe?
I have the PCI E version in my mac pro 2008 and it works great and if you ever upgrade to the new Mac Pro you can buy a thunderbolt enclosure from OWC or Sonnet for 350 to 400 bucks and continue to use your pcie card.
