Ipad2 with Pro Tools 2018
 

Hi. I am using an Ipad2 with PT Control as it does not allow to upgrade to Avid Control. My Pro Tools is 2018.7.0 and Eu Control is 18.3.0.244. IOS is High Sierra 10.13.6
With my previous Pro Tools, everything worked fine, but with 2018 I get the message "PT Control cannot be added because it is not compatible with the installed version of Eu Control". Eucon is activated. As I said, I cannot upgrade PT Control and EU Control seems to be the correct version.
How can I resolve this? Thanks

Unfortunately, the iPad 2 is not compatible with Avid Control. You'll need a more current tablet to run it. See compatibility list here. iPad Air (2013) is as far back as it goes.

Thanks for the reply but that was not the point. I know that ipad2 does not work with Avid control. That is why I have PT Control installed, that used to work with my current Eu Control version but another Pro Tools version. The question is if there is a Eu Control version or some tweak that lets PT Control work with Pro Tools 2018. Thanks

You would need to try EUON 19.9.1, available in the download center on Avids website

My mistake. I thought your issue was not being able to upgrade but I see that it was simpler than that. Glad you got it sorted.
