TC/E Changes

So in the old days, I used to could use the Time Compression/Expansion Audio Suite and change the length of a file, and change the pitch at the same time. As I recall, there was a checkbox that toggled between changing just the time, and changing between both the time and the pitch.

That checkbox seems to be gone.

Is there another way to make this happen? Basically, I've got a file of a reel to reel tape that played back too fast, so need to both stretch it to make it longer, and also lower the pitch to what it should be.

Guessing I can perform a time change first, and a pitch change second, but would be nice to be able to do both at the same time....

Any suggestion?

There's no need to use time compression/expansion at all in this case. When you're simulating a change of tape speed, just use Varispeed.

Elastic time is available right on the track. Put it on varispeed mode. Go to the analyses view and delete all the analyses markers. Then go to warp view and drag the end of the clip out until you’re happy with the result.

Thanks guys... Got this figured out. While I used the "normal" TC/E tool for voice over work, I never dove into the Elastic Pool. Now, I'm all wet.

Thanks for posting me in the right direction.
